Wrinkle relaxing injections, commonly referred to as botox, can combat both fine lines and deep wrinkles, helping to get rid of those pesky frown lines and crows feet.

 

These injections focus on reducing wrinkles between the eyebrows, across the forehead and around the eyes, creating smoother skin and a younger appearance.

You can expect results to last around 3 months, sometimes longer when treatments have been performed a few times and the muscles have been weakened. 

 

Summary of treatment:

• Treatment areas: frown line, forehead, crows feet, gummy smile, smokers lines

• Procedure time: 20 minutes for women, 30 minutes for men

• Aftercare advice:  no excess alcohol or exercise for 24 hours either side of treatment. Do not rub or massage the face for at least 7 days

• Results: fully visible after 14 days and last between 3-6 months depending on the individual

• Possible risks and complications: bruising, swelling, infection
